1. All terms of the contract between the purchaser and Windowparts Ltd hereinafter referred to as the company are contained in this document.
2. All prices quoted within our pricelist include the cost of carriage of those goods into the UK; however an additional carriage charge of £9.99 will be made for items less than 25 kg.
3. There is no minimum order value, but orders under £25(per list prices) will be subjected to a handling charge of £2.50
4. We cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience arising from failure to provide the agreed service because of factors that which could reasonably be considered beyond the Companys control, such as courier failure to meet deadlines, because of unforeseen traffic problems or mechanical breakdown of the couriers vehicles.
5. Our policy is to continually improve products, including the methods of production and materials used. We therefore reserve the right to change the product specification, but we will not make any significant alteration to your order without your prior written agreement.
6. If you are dissatisfactory with the goods for any reason, please contact the Company as soon as practically possible to discuss the matter.
7. If goods are returned in used condition or with no actual defect, a fee of 15% of the value of the original invoice value will be charged. This does not apply to consumer contracts cancelled under distance selling regulation 2000(see term 8 below).
8. Where you are acting as a Consumer and the goods are ordered solely by distance selling methods such as telephone, fax or website, you can cancel the order by sending a written notice no later than 7 working days from the day after you received those goods. Cancellations sent after this period will be accepted at the discretion of the Company and subject to a fee not exceeding 15% of the original invoice value.
9. Where you cancel a contract under term 8 above, you are responsible for returning the goods at your own expense. If you fail to return the goods, the Company may collect them and charge you the collection costs incurred.
10. Failure to pay the outstanding balance at the date specified on the invoice, will entitle the Company to charge interest on that balance at a rate of 3%above Bank of England base rate-from that date.
